Our practice is dedicated not to just treating smiles, but to developing meaningful, lifelong relationships with every person we treat.

Jeffrey A. Rajaski, DDS

"At LifeSmiles, providing our patients with a superior experience is a team effort. Our staff is great. They are happy, wonderful people to be around—they truly care about others, and it shows. We have gotten so many compliments about them… it makes me proud to be a part of their team!"
- Dr. Rajaski

Growing up in Springfield, Illinois, I found myself on the East coast for my schooling. I graduated from UMBC, where I enjoyed participating in track and field with a scholarship for pole vaulting. Afterward, I went to the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery for dental school, followed by a 2-year residency at the University of Maryland Hospital. I have continued to stay involved in academics, and teach in the postgraduate clinic at the dental school.

My favorite part of the day is when I am developing relationships with and getting to know my patients. Each person is so unique, and this is also true with their dental needs. I like to focus on individual treatment while offering the best possible care dentistry has to offer.

My time outside the office is spent mostly with my family. I enjoy golfing, fishing, and playing the guitar as well.

Education/Experience

  • BS Degree, Biological Sciences, University of Maryland, Baltimore County
  • DDS Degree, University of Maryland Dental School
  • Dental Residency, University of Maryland Hospital
(2-year program focusing on general dentistry, implantology, head and neck oncology and facial trauma)
  • Director of Dental Residency, University of Maryland Hospital
  • Part-time Associate Professor & Clinical Instructor, University of Maryland Dental School's Advanced General Dentistry Residency Program. (Conducts research in multiple fields of dentistry, particularly implants and new restorative material testing.)

Continuing Education

Having the opportunity to be an instructor for the University of Maryland Dental School has opened many opportunities for continuing education. Conducting research on various products over the years and participating in a number of studies has been invaluable to my education. I feel well equipped to provide my patients the best possible care.

Professional Organizations

  • American Dental Society of Anesthesiology

Community Involvement

I really enjoy working with our annual Give Kids a Smile program every year. It is a chance for me to give back to the community and help some fantastic children who are truly in need of dental care. I also volunteer with Mission of Mercy.

Bet You Didn't Know…

It feels like a long time ago, but I was a pole vaulter in high school and college. I got a big shock when I went back home for my 20-year high school reunion to find out that I still held my high school's all time record.
